Oscar Adolph Brahee was born 25 May 1885 in Carver County, Minnesota as the fifth child of August (Pettersson) Brahee and Anna-Stina Johansdotter. He had seven siblings, namely: Alfrida Maria, Alfreda Mathilda, Gustaf Oskar, Ada Axelina, Ada Emerentia, Anna Theodora, and Walter Edwin. He died 12 Jun 1957 in Carver County.  When he was 36, he married Florence Eleanor Mellgren, daughter of John L. Mellgren and Britta Stina Anderson, on 14 Sep 1921.

Oscar Adolph Brahee was confirmed 26 May 1901 in West Union Lutheran Church. He was buried 15 Jun 1957 in West Union Cemetery. He was baptized in West Union Lutheran Church.

Oscar Adolph Brahee and Florence Eleanor Mellgren had the following children:

1. Vernon Oscar Brahee was born on 21 Jun 1925 in San Francisco Twsp, Carver CO, MN. He died 06 Feb 2000 in Ridgeview Medical Center, Waconia. He married Helen Christensen on 21 Sep 1957 in East Union Lutheran Church – Carver, MN.
