Lorena Aina Mathilda Williams was born on 26 Jan 1912 in Carver County, MN (at home) as the seventh child of William Anderson and Alfreda Mathilda Brahee. She had ten siblings, namely: Mabel Wilhelmina, Walter Friedolph “Fritz”, Lillie Winifred Lydia, (May) Viola Theodora, (Myrtle) Hildur Alvina, Laura Mildred Joella, Whilma Adella Victoria, Wilma Ebba Adelia, Elvin Ferdinand, and Elford Wilton. She died on 29 May 2006 in St. Mary’s Nursing Ctr. Detroit Lakes, MN. When she was 22, she married Manley Samuel Nelson, son of Nels J. Nelson and Bertina, on 25 May 1934 in parents’ home in West Union.

Lorena Aina Mathilda Williams was buried on 01 Jun 2006 in South Grove Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Pelican Rapids.

Manley Samuel Nelson and Lorena Aina Mathilda Williams had the following child:

1. Harvey Newel Nelson was born 20 Mar 1951 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Detroit Lakes, MN. He died 24 Aug 1986 in Scambler Twsp. MN. He married Cynthia Jean Lattimore 14 Jul 1978.
